CANCELLED!!!

Jenks Christmas Parade

Due to lack of Participation, this year's Christmas Parade has been cancelled.  If you wish to ride in parades in the future, please let us know!

The Jenks Christmas parade will be on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 so make your plans now if you want to participate!  We need riders, walkers to carry the banner, and we may even have a truck to ride in depending on how many want to participate!  Please contact Andrea Esparza if you want to participate in this year's parade!

We will meet near the train tracks by the Jenks High School at 8:00 am.  You and your horse need to be saddled and ready to go by 9:00 am. Parade staging begins at 9:00 and the actual parade starts at 10:00.  During our wait times we work on Parade Formation, we ensure those who wish to carry a flag are on a horse that will cooperate as well, and we double check our gear to make sure we aren't missing anything and that we look sharp and parade ready!

There is nothing more exciting than marching down the street in the middle of Jenks, OK and seeing all the smiling faces, pointing and staring at the horses, and the children as they each pick out which one is their "favorite" that they wish they could ride.  For those that want to participate, but do not have a parade ready horse to ride, we have a truck available that you can ride in the back, sitting on hay bales, and wave at the crowd.

After the parade is over, we will all meet together for lunch.  This parade is a great experience and the crowd looks forward to seeing us every year.  The more participation we have, the more fun it is!  Hope you can join us!
