We have decided that due to many of our members falling into the "Moderate to High Risk" category in regards to Covid-19, the "Movie & Music at Arrowhead" ride will be postponed to a later date, yet to be determined. HOWEVER, there will still be several Bad Girls camping that weekend. So if you still want to camp and ride that weekend, there will be others there as well, but we will not be showing the movie in camp on the big screen and we will not have the live music on Saturday evening. Gatherings for Pot Luck meals, raffle prizes, etc. are also postponed. If you choose to camp and ride that weekend, just remember to practice your social distancing, don't touch anything that does not belong to you, do not touch others ("Air-hugs" and "Princess Parade Waves" are acceptable greetings) and WASH YOUR HANDS!!! We look forward to having a BIG Celebration for our 25th Year Anniversary Ride on June 20th at Robbers Cave!! Everyone Stay Safe and pray this virus situation is over with soon!

We had such a great time last year at Arrowhead State Park that we are doing it again!  Please come join us for another Movie in the Park on Friday evening, May 15th.  There will be a giant 10 x 10 foot movie screen set up in camp and after dark we will watch the movie!  (Movie to be announced later, but it will be a popular current release)  So don't forget to bring your lawn chairs!

Saturday morning we will have a potluck brunch around 10:00 am and afterwards we will hit the trails for a great afternoon of riding.  (Who knows, you might even see BigFoot!)  Arrowhead has some very beautiful trails, but they can be rocky so you might want shoes or boots for your horse.

On Saturday evening after the ride, gather up your chair once again and sit around the stage for a performance by the singing group "The Neighbors".  They play a beautiful mix of old country, gospel, and familiar instrumental songs that you are sure to enjoy! Last year just about everyone was singing along by the end of the show.  It was such an enjoyable experience!  As if this was not enough, there will also be a raffle drawing for some unique, one-of-a-kind items that you will definitely want to buy raffle tickets for and try to win!  Make your Reservations today!  You won't want to miss this event!

As of 02/12/2020 the Hitching Post campground is SOLD OUT on campsites!  However, Arrowhead has graciously allowed us to overflow camp at Echo Ridge.  Please keep in mind that you will need to either drive or ride the short distance to the Hitching Post campground to participate in the activities, but it will be well worth it!  Also, there are no horse pens at Echo Ridge, as this is not an "Equestrian Campground".  Please be sure to bag all poop, hay, etc. and Leave No Trace behind when you head back home on Sunday.

Below is the link for the Governor's 3 phase plan to start re-opening the state. In phase 1, beginning Friday, April 24th, state parks and outdoor recreation can reopen. Beginning Friday, May 1st, Sporting Venues can operate using CDC recommended social distancing and sanitation protocols.
Providing all Phase 1 guidelines are being met and hospital and incident rates remain at a manageable level for 14 days, Phase 2 will begin Friday, May 15th. Continue to maintain proper social distancing in groups. Organized sports activities can reopen and operate under proper social distancing and sanitation protocols.
Our May Movie & Music at Arrowhead Ride falls right along the lines of these two phases. The BOD has been monitoring and discussing each event and where our risk factor stands with regards to Covid-19 and whether or not we should reschedule certain events. We are going to have a special BOD meeting on May 4th to make some final decisions.
Please be aware that the deadline to cancel and receive a refund for any current reservation you may have at Arrowhead for this scheduled event is May 5th (or 10 days before your reservation begins if you have planned to come earlier than May 15th.)
We want to ensure that everyone has the information they need to determine what is safest for you and your family. Each day is a deciding factor and it could swing in either direction, so we want to give everyone ample time to make that decision for yourself as to whether you feel it will be safe to continue or if you may wish to cancel your reservation and get a refund.
We will post more information and updates as soon as possible before each scheduled event approaches and we have made the decision on whether or not to reschedule it. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we try to navigate through this very difficult time.
